These terms govern your use of Sugar Cloud Scents("we," "us," "our") and any purchase of our products. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

About our products

Sugar Cloud Scents is a small-batch fragrance brand. All products are hand-poured 10ml roll-on perfume oils in the Coachella Valley. Because each batch is hand-poured, slight variations in color, scent intensity, and fill level are normal and expected — that's the nature of artisan production.

Our fragrances are perfume oils, not eau de parfum or eau de toilette. They are concentrated and apply differently than alcohol-based sprays — a small amount goes a long way.

Allergies and skin sensitivity: our fragrances contain essential oils and synthetic perfume compounds. Do a patch test on a small area of skin before regular use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. We are not liable for allergic reactions.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from us, or have parent/guardian consent.

Pricing and payment

• All prices are in USD and shown on each product page.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
• Prices may change without notice. The price at checkout is the price you pay.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion (e.g., if a price was clearly listed in error).

Shipping and pickup

We currently serve the Coachella Valley with local pickup and limited local delivery. Shipping options will expand as we scale.

• Orders typically prepared within 2-3 business days.
• Pickup details and address sent via email after order confirmation.
• Lost or damaged packages: contact us within 7 days of expected delivery for resolution.

Returns and refunds

For health and safety reasons, opened or used fragrances cannot be returned. This is standard practice in the fragrance industry.

• Damaged or defective products: contact us within 7 days of receipt with a photo. We'll send a replacement or full refund.
• Wrong item shipped: contact us within 7 days, we'll cover the return shipping and send the correct item.
• Unopened items in original packaging: may be returned within 14 days for a refund (less original shipping costs). Buyer pays return shipping.

Fragrance descriptions and dupes

We describe our fragrances by their notes and inspirations. Where we reference well-known luxury fragrances (e.g., "inspired by [brand]" or "dupe of [brand]"), this is for descriptive purposes only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the referenced brands. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Our products are independent creations and do not contain any proprietary formulations from referenced brands.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, photos, product names, branding, logos — is owned by Sugar Cloud Scents or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it for commercial purposes without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sugar Cloud Scents is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products or website. Our maximum liability for any claim is the amount you paid for the product in question.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Riverside County, California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms.
